is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). He did Masters of Commerce from the University of Punjab in 1997. He worked as a Partner in Muhammad Safder & Co. Chartered Accountant and Javaid Jalal Amjad & Co., Chartered Accountants. He joined Malik Haroon Shahid Safder & Co., Chartered Accountants in 2009 as a Partner. He has over 18 years of experience in the fields of Audit and Assurance, Taxation, Corporate Compliance, Risk Assessment, Risk Management, Business Advisory and Corporate Finance etc. In addition to his consultancy business, he worked as an appointed Board Member for different group of industries and his responsibilities were Leading the finance and accounting department, corporate planning, investments, member of executive committee for new projects and representation in International meetings.

From 2005-2007 worked as head of corporate trainer to provide training to staff of different corporate entities in the fields including, tax planning and compliance, tax audits and filing procedures, In house sales tax audit and Internal control and reporting structure.

He was a visiting faculty member of the University of The Punjab for “International Finance”, University of Lahore-City Campus since 2008, University of South Asia (U.S.A.) - from 2007 to 2009 and Punjab College of Business Administration (P.C.B.A.) - from 2008-2009.
